Sally McDaniel has been an active member of the High for the last forty-five years, serving on the board of directors with leadership positions on the nominating, administration and board support, and executive committees.

In June, Director’s Circle and Circles Members enjoyed an exclusive first look at the highly anticipated Calder-Picasso exhibition.

What began as the need to decorate a new vacation home on Lake Lanier would lead to a transformational gift for the High and an ambitious vision for the Museum’s future, setting the course for a family’s legacy of leadership and philanthropy.

“I would love if my gift inspired more people to leave planned gifts to help the High acquire important artworks in the collecting areas they enjoy.”

Brenda and Larry Thompson have been longtime supporters of the High. This year, they also stepped forward as major funders of David Driskell: Icons of Nature and History.

Margot has been an active member of the Director’s Circle—the High’s premier leadership giving level—for many years, traveling on both domestic and foreign trips and hosting events in her home.
