Make a Lasting Contribution to Your High Museum. Consider a Planned Gift.

October 1, 2020 | Mark Mills

Evening view of the High Museum of Art.The High Museum of Art bears its name thanks to the generous and visionary gift of Mrs. Hattie High, who, in 1926, left her home to the then Atlanta Art Association. You’re invited to follow a long and proud tradition of donors who have made a lasting impact for Atlanta’s premier art museum with a planned gift.

By including the Museum in your will, you can help ensure the quality of the Museum’s collections and programs for generations to come. Whether you wish to provide general operating income for the Museum or to support a specific department or program, your bequest expresses your lasting commitment to the High.

A planned gift to the Museum may also help you meet your financial and estate planning goals because it is eligible for an estate tax charitable deduction equal to the entire amount of the bequest. If you have already included the Museum in your will, you are invited to join the High Esteem Society, a special community of donors making a lasting impact for the Museum.

For more information about making a bequest to the High or enrolling in the High Esteem Society, please contact Mark Mills, Associate Director of Individual Giving, at 404-733-4379 or mark.mills@high.org.
