The High is pleased to announce the promotion of three staff members.

Nancy Chiodo was recently promoted to Associate Director of Membership. She now oversees the seven-person Membership team and manages programs and initiatives that inspire and engage the High’s 30,000 members.

Nancy served as the High’s membership manager from 2018 to 2021. She received her Master of Public Administration from the College of Charleston and her BA from Presbyterian College. Prior to her role at the High, she worked in the Birmingham Museum of Art’s development office.

Aisha Moss was recently promoted to Membership Manager, overseeing essential daily operations for the Membership team and using her vast fundraising, customer service, database, and event management experience.

Aisha joined the High in 2005 during the grand opening of the Renzo Piano expansion and has since worked in many roles within the Membership department. She most recently served as the High’s call center manager, leading customer service and telemarketing efforts.

Maria L. Kelly was recently appointed Assistant Curator of Photography. Maria was the curatorial assistant in the High’s Photography department from 2011 to 2016, returning to the role in 2019 after completing her master’s degree. During her time at the Museum, she has helped organize more than twenty-five photography installations. Most recently she served as the venue curator for André Kertész: Postcards from Paris and was co-curator of Underexposed: Women Photographers from the Collection.

Maria received her MA from Columbia University and her BA from the University of Georgia. Previously, she worked at The Sir Elton John Photography Collection and the Brooklyn Museum.
